Happy Orthodox Christmas Day While almost everyone is trying to recover from New Year, the Christmas magic begin for all the Orthodox Christians which are celebrating Christmas on January 7th. I know it's a little bit confusing but Christmas Day is a public holiday on January 7th in countries such as Belarus, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Moldova , Montenegro, Serbia, Russia, and the Ukraine. Some countries, such as Armenia, observe Christmas Day on January 6th.
